Dear Parents:
My name is Eleonor Presley, also known as Yaya the Baby Whisperer, and I am an experienced nanny and Certified Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist. I have over 24 years experience caring for children, and I truly love my job! It is a great honor to share my experience and expertise with new parents as they settle into their new roles.
I am passionate about providing families with all of the support they need, whether it be overnight care, live-in or live-out nanny services, or 24/7 care for the newborn and other children. My passport is current and I am ready to travel with your family as well! I have numerous recommendations from happy parents, and have been recognized as an expert in sleep training.
I am an expert in newborn care and will guide and coach you as you adjust to the incredible journey of parenthood. I will provide your children with the best care possible by ensuring they are well fed, well groomed, well dressed, and well loved. I will create a healthy and comfortable environment for mom and baby, and will share my years of experience with you, address your questions or concerns, transport baby to appointments or scheduled events, as well as provide additional help in the home to support the family’s needs.
A bit about me – I was born in Leyte, Philippines and speak fluent English and Tagalog. I am the 4th of 7 children and moved to Los Angeles in 1992 where I began my career as a nanny. During my time in California, I worked for a family with a newborn and 3 older children. It was then that I discovered my interest in working with newborns and their families. The infant’s nurse took me under her wing and mentored me, and Yaya the Baby Whisperer was born!
In 2003 I relocated to Mesa, Arizona, where I currently live with my sister and teenage daughter. It was upon relocating to Arizona that I pursued my certification as a Postpartum Doula. Over the years I have obtained numerous certifications and participated in a number of specialty classes to sharpen my skills so that I can bring an added level of care to the families I serve with things like breastfeeding support and sleep training.
